A century ago, there were probably more than 100,000 tigers. By 2010, this number had already dropped by more than 95 percent, due in part to poaching and habitat loss. There were only 3,200 tigers left.

It was decided by the governments of 13 different countries to double the number of tigers in the wild by 2022- the next Chinese year of the tiger.

This is the goal of Tx2. WWF is one of the driving forces behind this project. We are doing everything we can to achieve this goal.
