Besides the sustainable products, a social aspect is just as important to us. That is why we help farmers in Sri Lanka through the Sampath Foundation.

In Sri Lanka, farmers are suffering. Especially in the regions of Tanamalwilla and Wellawaya because the soil there is very dry. So achieving a successful harvest, and thus producing enough food to generate income, is a big challenge. And if that harvest is successful, then the wild elephants are the next challenge. Because yes, they are also hungry and will quickly destroy the entire harvest to get a piece of the pie.

And that can be done differently! Sampath Foundation is making the case for this and we are helping them do so by supporting the project "Bees Helping Farmers.
